After the fall of Kabul, three interfaith communities of ordinary people came together in a “Welcome Circle” to support a refugee family as they start their new life in St. Louis.

HIAS came to SidexSide Studios, a production house in Maryland wanting a video they coiuld use that highlighted the impact of one of their programs known as “Welcome Circles” and which could be used to help recruit new circles across the country. The program connects and supports Americans who want to help refugees get settled in their communities, providing a lifeline to refugees with relational support to enhance belonging, opportunity, and agency.
